Quite literally, Rocker Mark Emmins is putting his BODY on the line for charity. SERIOUSLY! Mark has pledged to GET INKED over his entire body, with hopes generous people will donate to the cause for CANCER RESEARCH.
We are not talking little line drawings of Butterflies here, but full on large ART from an artist (Kirsty Cousin) donating her time. Mark completed a 10 hour marathon INK session in 2010, and raised £1000 for charity, but this year wanted to GO BIG, as is his way, because EMMINS ROCKS.
Starting in June Mark pledged his body to ALL OVER BODY TATTOO FOR CHARITY, and will continue to get INKED, as long as donations keep coming in.
From EMMINS.NET “100% OF THE MONEY RAISED WILL GO TO CANCER RESEARCH. THIS WILL BE AN ONGOING EVENT SO YOU CAN DONATE WHEN EVER YOU LIKE AND AND DONATE AS MUCH AS YOU LIKE. WE ARE ALL EFFECTED BY PEOPLE WHO ARE DYING OR HAVE DIED FROM CANCER SO PLEASE HELP MAKE A DIFFERENCE.”
From the Facebook note:-
OK HERE IS THE BEGGIN PART .. on my website there is a link at the bottom of the front page to donate www.emmins.net please support this in anyway .. £1. – £1000 anything will help I’m doing this because I care about other people and I have been around people that have died from Cancer, its never a nice thing to see someone old or young suffer and diminish through this.
Your help and sponsorship will never be forgotten
so please dig deep and help me make someones life or what is left of it a happy memory for all around them.
Thank you all x

Hey there, it’s John again from years back. The one who bought that Gateway desktop you hated its guts on.
Well until now, it’s still running swiftly and perfectly. Lucky me huh? I thought I’d just check in, saying thanks again for the help.
The last few months, the RAM in the computer’s starting to screw up a bit, but RAM’s easy to change so it’s not THAT bad.
The computer IS due for some upgrading though. Technology changes, and the hardware’s starting to become hard to keep up. Hard drive space is also reaching zero.
Anyways, have a nice day!

Great to hear from you again. My Gateway is still humming along. SPACE does get to be an issue, but drives are getting cheaper all the time.
Had a 500Gb external that I thought was dead, but turns out the controller was the problem, so popped it out of it’s case, and mounted directly in the Gateway, with no loss of data.
I think this will be good enough for a few more years!!
GOOD to hear from you, and all the best in the computer world!!
